Yes! Atlanta Mission’s thrift stores are 501(c)(3) organizations, and all donations are tax-deductible. Receipts are available at each thrift store location for donations.
Proceeds from the stores help fund the life-changing programs at Atlanta Mission facilities. In 2014, the thrift stores generated $2.15 million, resulting in countless meals, shelter, and transformational help for our guests.
Each thrift store also serves as a ministry center in its local community. Our stores have boxes for prayer requests, and we pray with staff, clients, and customers daily. We also partner with local non-profits, churches, and government agencies to meet the material needs of those who fall on hard times.
