Wednesday Wins

We’ve decided to start a weekly series on Wednesday’s that shares some of the daily blessings, or what we like to call them “wins”, that happen around each of our campuses. Just to name a few:

  • Two lawn mowers were donated to The Potter’s House facility which will be a tremendous help in landscaping the 550 acres. These will provide our men the tools to continue cultivating a beautiful home and welcoming environment during their treatment.
  • One of our clients, Elaine, received employment for the first time in her life and has moved out of My Sister’s House after graduating from our year long program.
  • Spring Cleaning happened this past week at The Shepherd’s Inn, where the men had goals of getting rid of useless items, painting a few of the rooms, and making room for more beds. These goals were not only met, but exceeded in the unifying spirit that the workload created and the joy that the shelter guests received in “having the ability to give back to the place that’s given them more than they could ever ask”.

These are just a few of the many, many miracles that God bestowed on Atlanta Mission in the past week. We hope that this new series brings you as much joy as it does us, and that you would continue joining with us in celebrating all that God is doing.
