Julie joined Atlanta Mission after serving for three years as a missionary at a local Atlanta homeless ministry but she’s no stranger to Atlanta Mission. She was the President of ProjectHALO, a non-profit whose goal was to encourage Believers to Love And Help Others in practical ways. She spent 18 months working with the Women’s Ministry at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church and ProjectHALO to re-decorate all of the rooms at My Sister’s House in 2011-12.
She has a passion for missions and has taken trips all over the world to work with women’s groups and orphaned children. She’s ‘all-in’ when doing ministry and recently got her motorcycle license to serve with a team that regularly ministers to those on the streets of Atlanta while riding.
She graduated from Kennesaw College with a degree in Business Administration. She has been married to Ray for almost 30 years and has two college-aged daughters. She and Ray attend RiverCity Church where they teach a class for elementary kids.
We’d be honored to have you share in the joys, struggles and transformations of Atlanta’s most vulnerable souls.
