Yes! One of the ways families can serve is through virtual volunteering. We also have social activity opportunities for youth ages 13 and up. Serving a meal requires ages 16 and up. We have a variety of opportunities for groups from 5-20 people. We can work with your group/church/organization/company to develop a custom volunteer experience. Simply complete our Group Form and one of our Volunteer Engagement Team members will follow up with you.

We do require a background check for instructors and any Spiritual Formation opportunities.
We ask that all volunteers wear long pants, sleeved shirts, and closed-toe shoes.
When you volunteer for the first time at The Potter’s House, you’ll be greeted onsite by one of our volunteer team members who will lead you in a brief orientation before serving. The orientation will help you get to know more about our work, the clients we serve, the challenges of homelessness, poverty and addiction in our communities, and the opportunity you registered for.
Once you register to become a volunteer, you’ll be able to manage all of your volunteer opportunities – selecting days/times, selecting specific volunteer opportunities, and canceling/rescheduling when necessary.
If you or someone you know is in need of recovery services, please refer to the information provided here and complete the admissions application.
