Victoria Owens

Victoria joined Atlanta Mission in January 2016 as a volunteer on the Human Resources team, a role in which she worked for eight months before becoming a Business Partner.  In May 2017, Victoria was appointed to lead the Human Resources Team.

While Victoria describes the daily functions of managing human resources as challenging, she is passionate about her work and embraces the opportunity to have a positive impact in serving Atlanta Mission’s employees, which she views as the organization’s most valuable asset.

Prior to joining Atlanta Mission, Victoria worked more than two decades in the financial services industry, serving in various roles within human resources.

Victoria graduated from Alverno College, a Private Liberal Arts College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree, majoring in Business Administration, and holds a Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR).  She has been married to her husband Michael for over 30 years and they have one daughter.  She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and is active in her church, where she teaches Sunday school.
