Atlanta Mission’s thrift stores provide significant funding for the programs that help change the lives of thousands of men, women, and children every year. Our thrift stores thrive on donations from generous people within the Athens, Commerce, Gainesville, Marietta, and Winder communities. 

About our Atlanta Mission Thrift Stores

Our thrift stores go beyond the city of Atlanta with 5 locations around Georgia – Athens, Commerce, Gainesville, Marietta, and Winder. This allows us to reach people in other communities.

At our stores, we gladly accept gently used and new items. From furniture to clothes to electronics, we’d love to help rehome all of your beloved belongings! If you have some large, bulkier items you’d like to donate, we also offer free pickups for people within the communities we serve. To schedule your pickup, click here or call 404-367-2289.

Our thrift stores are 501(c)(3) organizations, and all donations are tax-deductible. Receipts are available at each thrift store location for donations.

1. Helps fund our programs: The proceeds from our thrift stores help fund all of our programs including vocational training, transitional housing, spiritual recovery, and addiction recovery.
2. On-the-job training: Our thrift stores provide the perfect place for our clients to practice the skills they’ve learned through our programs in a real-life on-the-job scenario. This helps bring them just one step closer to gaining the independence they deserve.
3. Provides food for our clients: Every purchase you make at one of our thrift stores could help provide a healthy, warm meal for a woman, man, or child in need.  
4. Gives those facing homelessness hope: For our clients, getting back on their feet is a walk, not a sprint. When you shop at our thrift stores, you’re not only directly providing them with food, shelter, or transitional housing, you’re providing them with the thing that they need the most – hope.
