My Sister’s House
MY SISTER’S HOUSE
Located in Atlanta, Georgia, My Sister’s House is an overnight homeless shelter that accommodates both women and children. Any woman or mother experiencing homelessness in or around the Atlanta area has help available to them at My Sister’s House. At any given time, My Sister’s House can provide shelter for up to 264 guests.
However, My Sister’s House provides more than just a safe place to sleep at night. My Sister’s House also works to meet some of the other immediate needs of those who stay here. The caring and compassionate staff address those needs by offering counseling and child care services as well as referrals for health and legal care. Our staff also helps the residents find transitional housing and job training.
