Spring Cleaning: What to Donate and Where to Take it
Spring is finally here, and as you work to make room in your closets and garages, you can also start to set some items aside to donate to Atlanta Mission.
If you’re looking to make a donation after your spring cleaning this year, see what items we are able to take and where you can bring them below.
Urgent needs
We are currently accepting new and gently-used clothing for children and adults, and we are in need of professional clothing for clients, as well. We also accept food items and hygiene donations.
Some of our immediate needs include:
- Underwear (L, XL, 2XL, 3XL)
- Professional clothing for men and women
- Leather belts for professional wear – men’s & women’s
- Paper products – plates, cups, silverware
- Snacks (granola bars, individual bags of chips)
- Cereal (individual and big boxes)
- Individual milk
- Fresh fruit and vegetables
Items we cannot accept: Musical instruments, large or small appliances, used underwear, furniture or office furniture, used toys or games, clothes with stains and/or holes, used hair or hygiene products, printers or computers, used stuffed animals or any open products.

We are accepting Urgent Needs donations at our Administrative Office located at
2353 Bolton Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318
Donations are accepted Monday – Friday from 9:30 a.m – 5:30 p.m.
Donate to one of our Thrift Stores
We can also help you schedule a donation pickup in Atlanta and Northeast Georgia. If you are donating bags or boxes of clothing, household items or miscellaneous items, a minimum of 10 or more extra-large bags or boxes is required to schedule a pickup.
You can also make a physical donation to any one of our thrift store locations during office hours.
