World Gratitude Day at Atlanta Mission

Today is World Gratitude Day, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than to highlight some of the things that we are grateful for here at Atlanta Mission. Amidst the obstacles that this year has held, we cling to the good and the hope that we have seen in the lives of our clients and staff. Join us in giving thanks for the following things:

We are grateful for kids being back in school. Although most students are adjusting to new norms of virtual learning, we are so thankful that they are able to continue to learn and grow.

We are grateful for the health of our clients and staff. We are so thankful for the protection and provision that our Atlanta Mission community has experienced during the pandemic. We would love it if you would continue to pray for the protection of each of our campuses.

We are grateful for people being able to go back to work. Over the last few months, we have slowly seen our clients returning to work, and we are so thankful to see routine resuming with priority on safety precautions.

We are grateful for our volunteers. Although we haven’t been able to host many volunteers in person on our campuses, we are so thankful for the support of our local Atlanta community and our new volunteer in place opportunities from the safety of our own home.

We are grateful for our community. We have seen extraordinary generosity over the past few months, through encouraging words on our social media platforms, purchasing items on our urgent needs list, praying for our clients and staff, or donating to Atlanta Mission. We are so grateful for the way that our local Atlanta community has supported us!

These are just a few of the many things that we are grateful for! We would love for you to share what you are thankful for during this season, head over to our most recent Instagram post, and share in the comments.
